ABOUT THE EVENT

Kingman Beach will be held April 6-8 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Join Kingman Museum staff for our annual spring break ocean vacation camp. The themes for this year’s camp will be “Ocean Life” on Tuesday, “Marine Mammals” on Wednesday, and “Creatures from the Polar Regions” on Thursday. Each day will bring a new adventure as we explore salt water, ocean food webs, habitats, fish, marine mammals, penguins, and other animals adapted to live in an ice world.

Activities include salt water experiments, making a model of a coral polyp, designing your own fish, playing educational games, creating ocean habitats, learning about blubber, and cleaning up feathers after an oil spill.

Cost is $25 a day for members or $50 if you sign up for all three days, and $30 a day for non-members or $75 if you sign up for all three days. This program is for children age 6-12. The museum will be open for early drop offs at 8 AM.
